Zachery is my 6 year old grandangel. He became an angel on July 4, 1999 when he fell from a horse while on a family outing. He had just finished Kindergarten and would have been starting first grade in the fall.
He liked to play soccer and soft ball. He was a big fan of wrestling, his favorite was Stone Cold Steve Austin.
He liked to watch video's his favorites were Toy Story & Lion King. I spent allot of days watching them with him. Another one he liked was Nightmare Befor Christmas.
He was very neat when it came time to pick up his toys he had a certain container they all went in.
Zachery was my youngest daughter's first child. He had a sister who was 2 years younger then him.
Sleepless nights
Another of my sleepless nights
Should I turn on every light?
The silence deafens in my ears
Darkness makes this more severe
No noise to help me occupy...
So again I just ask why?
Sitting in this darkened room
Grief once more starts to consume
I close my eyes as if to sleep
Tears well up as I do weep
Endless hours slowly pass...
Till the morning comes at last
Through the day I can deny
Keep my tears buried inside
Somehow make it through again
Refuse grief's never ending pain
As the day turns to the night
Shadows form as we lose light
Another sleepless night draws near...
